Did you ever heard that Lord Hanuman have brothers? Very less is known about the sibblings of Lord Hanuman. But according to Brahmand puran, one of the purans of hindu scriptures,Lord Hanuman have brothers that we are going to tell you now.
The mother of Hanuman was Anjana, who was an apsara in the celestial court of Indra, was born on earth due to a curse. She was redeemed from this curse on giving birth to a son.The Valmiki ramayana states that the father of Lord Hanuman was Kesari,he was the son of Brihaspathi and was the king of place called Sumeru.Anjana prayed to Lord Shiva for a long period of twelve years to get a child.Pleased with their devotion,Lord Shiva granted them with a child. That child was Hanuman.
Hanuman is also called son of Vaayu Deva ( Wind God ).As per Eknath's Bhavaratha Ramayana ( 16th Century ),when Anjana was worshiping Lord Shiva,The king Dasaratha of Ayodhya was also performing the ritual of Putrakama Yagna in order to have children. As a result he received prasad to be shared by his three wives, leading to the births of Lord Rama,Lakshmana,Bharatha and Shatrughna. By devine ordinance, a kite snatched a fragment of prasad and dropped it while flying over the forest where Anjana was engaged in worship. Vaayu Deva ,the Hindu diety of wind, delivered the Prasad into the outstretched hands of Anjana, who consumed it. Hanuman was born as a result. By Shiva's direction Vaayu Deva transferred his male energy in to Anjana's womb resulting in birth of Lord Hanuman. Thus Hanuman was often called the son of Vaayu Deva ( Pavanputra Hanuman ).
Kesari and Anjana had a total of 5 son's,out of which Hanuman was eldest according to Brahmand puran, verse 223 to 230.The names of other son's of Kesari were:
1. Matiman
2. Shruthiman

They all were married and had kids. It was said that Hanuman also had one more brother named "Gatiman", but we are unable to find his name in purans.
